Privacy policy

Effective date: August 1, 2026

HHT Partners (“HHT Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) introduces owners of privately held businesses to prospective acquirers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website and to our business outreach and correspondence.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

We do not operate contact forms on this website. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, business name, contact details, and information about your company and your objectives. Any financial or operating information you send us is received only because you sent it.

Business information we collect for outreach

We research privately held companies as part of our work. In doing so we collect business contact information and company details from publicly available and commercially available sources, including company websites, state business-entity filings, industry directories, professional networking sites, news coverage, and licensed data providers. This information generally concerns businesses and the individuals who own or manage them in their professional capacity.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site may collect technical and usage information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. Google processes that data under its own privacy terms and may set its own cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We disclose information only as follows:

4. Confidentiality

Using this website, emailing us, or speaking with us does not by itself create an advisory, agency, fiduciary, or confidential relationship. If you want information you share treated as confidential, ask us for a written confidentiality agreement before you send it. We are glad to sign one.

5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to understand site traffic and performance. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; the site will still function. Where an analytics provider offers a browser opt-out, you may use it. We do not currently respond to Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals in a uniform manner, and we will update this section if that changes.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to know what we have collected, to obtain a copy, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have some or all of these rights.

To make a request, email hello@hhtpartners.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

7. Stopping our outreach

If you do not want to hear from us, tell us once and we will stop. Reply to any message with a request to be removed, or email hello@hhtpartners.com. We will remove your contact information from our outreach lists and suppress it going forward so it is not re-added from a later data source.

8. Retention

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Records related to a completed transaction are typically retained for a longer period. Suppression records are kept indefinitely so that we can honor a removal request permanently.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information in our custody. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive financial documents by unencrypted email without discussing it with us first.

10. Third-party links

This site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Children

This website is directed to business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
